A good first meeting is not a sales call. It is a chance to test whether the lawyer understands your problem and can explain the path in plain words.
Ask about the plan
Ask what the steps are, who will do the work and how long each step should take. If the answer is vague, ask again.
Ask about the price
Ask whether the work is a fixed fee or an estimate, what could change it and when you will be told. A good lawyer will put this in writing.
Leave with a next step
You should leave knowing what you need to do this week and what the lawyer will do in return.
